Directions



Directions to the Atlantic City Convention Center
For updated information, it is best to check the Atlantic City Convention Center's website, www.accenter.com, or call 800.214.0663.

Please note there is a daily fee to park in the Atlantic City Convention Center parking garage. Unfortunately, COSAC is unable to validate parking.

From the Atlantic City Expressway
At the end of the Expressway, make a left onto Arctic Ave. and a left onto Michigan Ave. Go straight into the Atlantic City Convention Center parking garage.

From Philadelphia and West
Exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Valley Forge, Exit 24, onto the Schuylkill Expressway (Route 76 East). Drive through Philadelphia to the Walt Whitman Bridge. Cross the Walt Whitman Bridge and follow N/S Freeway to the Atlantic City Expressway. See above for directions from the Expressway.

From New York and North
Major interstate highways connect with the Garden State Parkway South. Follow Garden State Parkway South to Exit 38 (Atlantic City Expressway). See above for directions from the Expressway.

From Baltimore, Washington & South
Take I-95 to the Walt Whitman Bridge (Philadelphia). Cross the Walt Whitman Bridge and follow N/S Freeway to the Atlantic City Expressway. See above for directions from the Expressway.

From Norfolk area
Follow Route 13 and Route 9 to Cape May-Lewes Ferry, then take the Garden State Parkway North to Exit 38 (Atlantic City Expressway) into Atlantic City. See above for directions from the Expressway.

Truck Traffic/Loading Dock
All trucks bound for the New Atlantic City Convention Center must access the city via the Atlantic City Expressway. Use the above directions to access the Atlantic City Expressway. At the end of the Expressway, go directly into the city. Make a left onto Arctic Ave., a left onto Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., a left onto Bacharach Blvd. and straight up to the loading dock area.

Transportation Information

Bus Service
New Jersey Transit (800.772.2222, press option 1) and Greyhound (www.greyhound.com or your local number) provide scheduled service to Atlantic City from the NY/NJ Port Authority terminal at 41st Street & 8th Avenue in New York City. The Atlantic City Municipal Terminal is located at Atlantic and Michigan Avenues, near all major hotels.  

Rail Service Via New Jersey Transit
Atlantic City train service connects Atlantic City to New Jersey points in Cherry Hill, Lindenwold, Atco, Hammonton, Egg Harbor and Absecon.  All connections may be made in Philadelphia for the Amtrak Northeast Corridor. Call 800.772.2222 and press Option 2 for information.

Atlantic City Jitney
Jitneys run 24 hours a day. Stops are located near all Atlantic City Hotels and at the Convention Center. Call 609.344.8642 for more information.

Air Service
You can directly fly from many cities to Atlantic City. Scheduled carriers servicing Atlantic City include US Airways, Continental Airlines and Spirit Airlines. It's a quick 20-minute ride from Atlantic City International Airport to the Convention Center.  

Taxi Service from the Atlantic City International Airport

Hotel Information



COSAC has reserved a limited number of rooms at a Conference rate of $146 per night (plus tax and surcharge) at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel (Two Ocean Way, Atlantic City, NJ, 08401, 609.344.3535). When you contact the hotel, ask for the COSAC Issues in Autism Conference rate, which will be reserved until 5:00 p.m., April 22, 2008, unless sold out before then. You also can register online by visiting www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/issuesautism. If you prefer to stay at the Sheraton, COSAC recommends making your reservation as soon as possible.

COSAC also has a block of rooms reserved at the Days Inn Atlantic City/Pleasantville. The COSAC group rate is $59 for mid-week stays, $79 for May 16 and $99 for May 17. Taxes are not included.  Rates are for up to two adults per room. Extra adults are $5/night plus tax.  Children age 12 and under stay free in parents' room.
