Online registration will be available shortly. Scholarship Opportunities A limited number of scholarships are available for COSAC’s 2008 Issues in Autism Conference. Scholarships are available to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and family members who regularly care for their family member with autism. Scholarships are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and based on financial need. There is a limit of two scholarships per family. COSAC asks that applicants contribute as much as possible to the Conference fee to ensure that the greatest number of scholarships are distributed. Please click here to download the Call for Posters, the deadline has been extended until  February 29, 2008.   COSAC is pleased to announce that COSAC (provider #848) is approved to offer professional development credit for poster session presenters. Each presenter who attends the entire one hour Poster Session may receive two professional development credits through the NJ Department of Education. A corresponding certificate will be provided at the end of the Poster Session. If you would you like to be considered to present a workshop at the 2009 Issues in Autism Conference, please e-mail Apryl Roach at [email protected] to be added to the Call for Papers mailing list.COSAC has reserved a limited number of rooms at a conference rate of $146 per night (plus tax and surcharge) at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel (Two Ocean Way, Atlantic City, NJ, 08401, 609.344.3535). When you contact the hotel, ask for the COSAC “”Issues in Autism”” conference rate. The rates will be reserved until 5:00 p.m., April 22, 2008, unless sold out before then. If you prefer to stay at the Sheraton, COSAC recommendsmaking your reservation as soon as possible.COSAC also has a block of rooms reserved at the Days Inn Atlantic City/Pleasantville. The special offered rate is $59 for mid-week stays, $79 for May 16th, and $99 for May 17th. Taxes are not included.  Rates are for up to two adults per room. Extra adults are $5/night plus tax.  Children age 12 and under stay free in parents’ room.
