COSAC at a Glance

COSAC is the largest network of parents and professionals concerned with autism in New Jersey! The following is a highlight of the services that COSAC offers to the autism community. Please see below for a listing of our Board of Trustees and Professional Advisory Board members. n Toll-free Information & Referral Line, 1-800-4-AUTISM, that serves more than 6,000 callers per year n Educational workshops and support groups for parents and other family members of children with autism n Seminars, workshops, and special training to teachers and other professionals responsible for educating and caring for children and adults with autism n Consultations to school, work or residential programs for individuals with autism and related disabilities n Assistance with advocacy and legal rights issues for parents and guardians n Promotion of autism awareness to the general public through collaboration with the media, businesses and concerned citizens n Dissemination of current information about autism-related topics and events through our website and membership newsletters and magazine n Nearly 40 informational publications and referral lists to educate readers about autism and available services n Education of legislators and other state officials about issues that affect New Jersey’s autism community n Annual Issues in Autism conference, one of the largest of its kind in the nation, that attracts more than 1,300 attendees Board of Trustees Steven Pellegrinelli, President Michael P.
