Durand Academy and Community Services, Inc. is seeking a part time (15 hours a week) Board Certified Behavior Analysts.TM A 125 employee multi-service, non-profit organization serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. This position will write behavioral programs with documentation requirements, and prepares summaries, graphs and progress notes applicable to the behavioral programs. Candidate must have two years experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities/Mental Retardation.Must have strong written and oral communication skills, ability to develop and maintain professional relationships, ability to work independently with minimal instruction, ability to practice team based management, ability to balance requirements of multiple and varied duties, and ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations. Holmdel Township and the Holmdel Board of Education will be hosting an evening event for Autism Awareness on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, from 7-10 pm to be held at the Holmdel High School auditorium.  A diverse panel in the field of autism such as Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, Doctor of Pediatrics, and the parents of two autistic children will make presentations. We hope that residents of Holmdel and allneighboring towns will join us for this informative evening.
