Treatment Philosophy

Research has demonstrated that individuals with autism make substantial progress in learning new skills when teaching is highly structured, data driven and clinically sound. The behavioral approach offers all of these components and more to maximize the learning for students of all ages. Consequently, the behavioral treatment model serves as the foundation for many of the workshops and consultations provided by COSAC’s Parent and Professional Support Services Departments.

As treatment technology evolves, COSAC continues to remain abreast of the research literature and share that information with the professional community.
