Art received a BA from St. Bonaventure University. He has spent more than 25 years in the human services field and worked on behalf of the United Cerebral Palsy Association and at-risk youth. As Director of Government Affairs, Art interacts with members of the New Jersey Legislature and appointed officials at all levels of government in the New Jersey Departments of Human Services, Education and Health and Senior Services. He tracks, analyzes and summarizes relevant state and federal legislation and attends Legislative/Governmental Committee meetings relevant to the autism community. He keeps current with laws, policies, procedures, pending legislation, administrative codes and court rulings that impact individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
