COSAC Germaine Ibrahim, Coordinator of Parent Services

Germaine earned a BA from Rutgers University and currently holds her Master’s Degree in Education.  As the Coordinator of Parent Services, she provides parent and community support services while also maintaining cultural competencies. She also plans and presents the Parent Series on Behavioral Teaching and supervises the Home-Based Consultation program.  Germaine represents COSAC on the Autism and Faith Task Force and has also worked in partnership with the Latinos and Disabilities Network in a collaborative effort to increase outreach and services to New Jersey’s underserved communities. Before joining COSAC in 2002, Germaine was an independent Behavior Therapist and Consultant as well as a Therapist at the Princeton Child Development Institute. During

that time, she developed behavior intervention plans for families and individuals with autism, provided training and support services and assisted families with objective strategies. Germaine’s professional experience also includes working on behalf of the Matheny School and Hospital, Children’s Specialized Hospital, the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, Easter Seals and the Katzenbach State School for the Deaf.
