The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) – A part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), NICHD is one of the primary Institutes doing research into various aspects of autism, including its causes, prevalence, and treatments. The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY) – The national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals. US National Library of Medicine – located on the campus of the National Institutes of Health, the NLM is the world’s largest biomedical library.
